I had to remove the faulty ampmeter from the van and replace it with a single bolt. All the electrical power generated by the van's alternator passes through this connection. I think I need bigger wires because you can see where one of the yellow crimps is already starting to melt. Trial by fire: What doesn't work goes on fire! ;)
