This weekend set new record low temperatures around the province, and Pine Lake was no exception. I have never seen a colder August Long weekend! There was snow reported in almost every major city, (Calgary, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Carstairs, Didsbury, Drumheller) and several people arriving at the lake Friday night reported travelling in blizzard-like conditions all the way from Calgary!
