Seen here is my attempt at an XM1541 cable -- which didn't work. I think the problem might have been that I was using the wrong type of diodes. I got these out of a burnt up power supply, but it would appear from my failed results that they were not the right kind. This was another reason I opted to build the x1541 cable instead -- it required no electronic components, only a straight pin to pin connection.
