While we had origionally suspected this fire had been caused by lightning, it turned out that it was the neon around the canopy which had caused the fiberglass to burn. Petro Canada insists on having the neon turned on all day long on any station which has it in an attempt to draw more customers. Sometimes, however, the cost of this policy is more than that of the electricity it consumes...
