We didn't arrive at Little Elbow, the trail head until about 10:30 pm on Friday night. This meant that most of our trek in to Romulus was done in the dark, and if that weren't enough it also started to rain about half way in. Around 3:30 am we saw that much-anticipated sign advertising the campground which would be our home for the next two nights.
