Hi. My name is John. (Hi John!) I'm 27 years old, I live in the (currently-being-renovated) basement suite of a bungalow in Calgary where my best friend Bo lives above me. I am dating a wonderful mother of two named Kristi who makes me very happy and is the source of most of my happy thoughts during any given day. Every day I am alive I learn things I did not know, and the more I learn the more I realize I have yet to learn. My hobbies and interests are such that would land me smack dab in the middle of a box with the label GEEK plastered across the outside, and I wear this title proudly. I work for a security technology company in Calgary and love my job. Every day I work with systems and people that challenge me and make me strive to be a better person, personally and professionally. I have very little stress in my life, but that bit which I do have - I hate. My life's big challenge right now is to grow up; to finally put away my childish thoughts and actions, to exercise self control at all times - thinking before acting, and ultimately to become the man I was created to be. I'm not that man yet. Kristi has been a very large source of inspiration in this aspiration. |
